        This is not my first time reading a book about a bully hero but this is my first time encountering a bully hero that goes all out. And I mean ALL.OUT. I haven't met such a tyrant hero as Aiden. We were even warned before reading the book that Aiden is not your normal romance hero. And I quote:

 "Aiden isn’t the normal romance hero. In fact, he’s not a hero at ALL. So please don’t read this if any of that bothers you."

        And I kinda agree with it. I mean he does a lot of ridiculous things towards Elsa to the point that you'll hate him with every fiber of your being but there's this part of him that despite all his cruel ways, you sympathize with him. He's not even sorry with everything that he did to Elsa but you will absentmindedly love his sick games. Elsa is also not your average heroine that gets bullied because FORTUNATELY she is not a doormat and knows how to hold her ground. She knows how to push Aiden's buttons and she enjoys it fully. 

        I just think this first book is just dragging and repetitive. I mean Aiden bullied Elsa all the time and they made each other jealous by being with someone which in turn makes them act caveman ESPECIALLY Aiden but we get it okay? I was also dying to know about Elsa's past and everyone's issue on every chapter it keeps me on edge while I was nearing the end only to be cut off by cliffhanger! But I understand because damn this is a trilogy so I immediately read the second book and devoured it because I'm starved and eager to know what everyone is hiding!

#2 STEEL PRINCESS

        So in this second book of the Royal Elite series, we get to see Aiden's true unfiltered form: A FREAKING POSSESSIVE CAVEMAN! Seriously, he is the most caveman and possessive hero I've read. HAHA! I'm not even exaggerating! I enjoyed reading this one than the first book though I also enjoyed reading that. In here, we get to witness how Aiden slowly bows down to Elsa and see that he's not invincible after all. This book also ended in a cliffhanger and all I said after reading this was HOLY SHIT! I was not expecting THAT!

        To give you a little overview of what happened, in the last part of the the first book, Elsa overheard Jonathan, Aiden's father, and Silver talking about how everything was just a game to Aiden and he's only waiting for Elsa to trust him fully so he can break her in the end. That ended Elsa drowning in their school's pool. And when Aiden finally confronted her, she was so angry with him that all the trust she gave him crumbled to pieces and now she refuses to listen to everything that he says. But of course, what Aiden wants, he gets so he made a deal with Elsa that she listen to him and in exchange, he'll tell Elsa about the shit that Jonathan and Silver was talking about before she drowned in the pool. Of course, Elsa was delighted and was eager to know everything so she agreed only for her to draw herself to Aiden again and this time she fell deeper with him and there's no coming back. Just when everything was going on the right track, it went downhill when Elsa found out that Aiden is actually engaged to Silver whom Elsa despises with all her might. On top of that, she found out that her father was actually alive all this time! And that her family is actually the rivalry of Aiden's. I did not get the memo that this is going to be a Romeo and Juliet novel. LOL. Anyway, now Elsa was devastated because she was always mad at Silver for sticking her butt to Aiden when all this time she was the other woman. All the trust she gave to Aiden again now crumbled to pieces. She was so angry she left him even after telling him she loved him and walked out together with her father. I was so angry with that cliffhanger that I have to read the last book of this trilogy IMMEDIATELY!

#3 TWISTED KINGDOM

        I kid you not! I devoured this book in a day! That cliffhanger in the second book was a killer! Everything now made sense about the rivalry between Aiden and Elsa's family. When Elsa learned about Aiden and Silver's engagement, nothing was left of Elsa for her to talk and trust Aiden ever again. At least that's what she thinks. But of course, Aiden is like the flame and her the moth. The more she pushes back, the more that Aiden pulls. It's like she's left with no choice at all because even after everything, she always finds herself in Aiden's arms and side.

        Aiden's possessiveness towards Elsa now reached to a new height. He is so eager to get Elsa back and willing to do everything just to talk to her. That is asking his friends to talk to her in his behalf even if it means he will owe them which never happens by the way. He now made Elsa listen to him and told her that the engagement between him and Silver is just a sham and that it will never happen. As much as Elsa feels delighted to hear that, she still doesn't want to trust Aiden again because she's afraid he'll hurt her again. But of course, time and time again, WHAT AIDEN WANTS, AIDEN GETS. So he now lures Elsa again by telling the rest of the story that he was telling her but this time, he want Elsa to remember everything that she can't remember from her childhood that keeps on appearing on her nightmares.

        On the other side, since their fathers really make it their job to make them stay away from each other, Ethan asked Elsa to be married to Ronan (of all people HAHAHA) since their family can help them get the Rhodes deal. Aiden then found out about this so he went caveman as usual and planned on kidnapping Elsa for real but instead he brought Elsa to where everything started- the basement of their house where her mother made Aiden captive. Everything finally unravels to Elsa and she found out that the monsters that she mentions appearing in her nightmare was her mother all along and that Aiden used to be a captive of her mother because of her obsession and grief with her lost son. Elsa was devastated when she also remembers the wounds inflicted to Aiden by her mother and how she left him without food and water for days. Elsa finally remembers everything about the times she spent times with young Aiden and how she brought him foods and even comfort him and how they became best of friends from that day even before they met in RES. Seriously though, that part made me cry and I was swooning and AWWWWHHHH-ing all the time. 

        A lot of dramas happened on the last part of the book so it was not boring. I was so happy about the turnout of events and how everything finally went back to its proper place. Seriously, I was craving for Maltesers while I was reading about young Aiden and Elsa. HAHA. Who would've thought that the batshit crazy possessive Aiden who claims to be empty at heart will fall head over heels to Elsa. And I mean to an unreachable height?? To be honest, I realized that all the possessive heroes that I I've read are nothing compared to Aiden. Anyway, what I mean is I also want a piece of Aiden for me HAHA. Even if he's not your romance hero, I know everyone who read this book will themselves swooning over him. Just like me. LOL.

           I just thought that this trilogy can be consolidated into one book instead. Every book was a short read so you will find yourself in the last page in no time. I super loved and enjoyed reading this. I will definitely read the other books of Rina Kent. For now, I'll finish reading the remaining books from this series. I'm so excited to read Ronan's book! Out of them four horsemen, after Aiden of course, Ronan is my fave so I can't wait to read his book! Also, I wanna learn how to play chess. How cool would that be? Hmmm..
