PAPER HEARTS (Hearts #2) by Claire Contreras
I am pretty sure Jensen's name in the first book was Jenson. Hmm..
SYNOPSIS
I lost her. No, I didn't lose her. I threw her away. She was my best friend. I was never supposed to fall in love with her. I was careless. She was heartbroken. I thought I was doing fine. But here she is, years later, forced to work with me, reminding me why I fell in love with her in the first place. And this time I'm going to do everything in my power to never let her go.
Okay first, what the heck?? This book.. I can't tell you how much I cried while reading this. My heart bled for Mia but especially for Jensen. I was bawling half the time I was reading this I don't even understand myself. This is just my opinion but I think Mia was unfair and selfish at some point to Jensen. I have mixed feelings really while reading this I don't know which side to choose. Sometimes I'm team Jenson, sometimes I'm team Mia but most of the time I was team Jenson to be honest. HAHA.
Whenever I read Jensen's column, I'm like, awwwhhhh you lover boy! But then Mia will do annoying things and I'll be like "you don't deserve him!". LOL. I get that Jensen made that great mistake to Mia and that he regret it so much but the way she punished Jensen made me annoyed. The fact that she even went to New York knowing that Jensen works there and even shows up to places where she knows she may encounter him made her really pathetic but whenever Jensen makes and effort to talk to her or get her attention, she denies her. Like girl grow up and just go back to LA.
One of the major things that Mia did that really pissed me to no end was when she went home even when Jenson pleaded to her to not go since she can have a job in New York either way and even when she found out that she was pregnant with Jensen's child, it took her weeks to tell him because she can't tell him over the phone but still contemplates on going to New York! Ridiculous. She just acts hard-to-get really. Even when she watched Jenson's confession, mind you, on a LIVE SHOW she was still like "shall I tell him already??" like OH MY GOD! Stop being so bitchy and just tell Jensen!
To be honest, those parts where I cried where the chapters of Jensen's column and his confessions to Mia. That bitch just can't be grateful. Ugh!
Anyway, I love the book as a whole and Olivia is so cute and adorable. The way Jensen named her because of Oliver is just sooo cuutteee and seems like she's already having a crush on him. Haha
