MY TORIN by K. Webster

“I couldn’t choose one type to represent you. You’re everything at once. Every pretty thing in one breathtaking package.”

This is the very first book that deals with autism that I read and wow. This book is an emotional rollercoaster! I cried several times.

SYNOPSIS

I’m a freak, a misfit, an odd end.
Abandoned and unloved.
But my happiness is so close I can taste it.

Until he shows up.

Gorgeous, expensive, and all man.
Sad brown eyes and a brilliant smile.
And he wants me to go with him.

His intentions are hidden.
His motives are unclear.
Yet, I leave with him because there’s no happiness here.

What he promises feels too good to be true…
A castle. A fortune. And horses too.

It’s too easy.
Nothing in my life has ever been easy.

What’s the catch?
There’s always a catch.

This was not supposed to be one of my reads this month but this was just a short read so I gave it a go and what a ride! This is the first book by K. Webster so I was glad this was a good read. I devoured this book to be honest. I thought I'll get bored at some point while reading this but I read it in one sitting. I can't put it down I just wanna know what'll happen next so the anticipation on every chapter was so high so I'm glad I was not disappointed with the turn out of the events. The plot of this book is also unique I just wanna keep on reading everything.

One thing that I'm so satisfied with this book is that the heroine is at once not annoying. I mean I sometimes read books where the heroine is so annoying I just wanna skip some pages so I get past her narrative. But Casey is so funny and despite of being a foster kid and in a phase of rebellion, you can't help loving her.

I really loved Torin and Tyler equally. I never got annoyed with them. I like how Tyler takes care of Torin despite him being an autistic. He is willing to sacrifice everything for him.  It was also fun and exciting to get into Torin's head and get to know what he thinks of people and things that surround him. Him and Tyler is the total opposite but the way they want to protect the people important to them is so  admiring. Tyler, hayyyy, this man is the definition of gentleman. I really loved him and

To be honest, while reading this, I can't help getting this vibe that the story may be horror or a thriller. Lol. I was kinda imagining Tyler's house as  Victorian because it was windowless. Haha.

This book is really good! I think this is also the first book that I read where there are multiple POVs. The prologue was kinda weird but it all makes sense in the end. I recommend this book so much!
